"At The Time of My Grandparents"
SYNOPSIS
Continuing the work developed in previous years with interactive productions for children, Quorum Ballet presents a new creation by Daniel Cardoso that takes us on a journey into the past, a journey into the time of our grandparents. Traveling to a time where technology was not the main focus of our lives, to a time where the street was the “stage” games with friends, to a time where toys were as simple as a ball or a top and where climbing trees and looking for shade on an August afternoon was the only concern. At a time when television was in black and white and the days were slow as the number 28 tram traveling through the streets of Lisbon. With this new production, Daniel Cardoso intends to transport the youngest to a world made of “small” and simple things, underlining that happiness is not dependent on materialism and technology.
