Always been seen as irrelevant issue, now graffiti is considered a form of expression within the visual arts, more specifically, of street art or urban art – in which the artist takes advantage of the public spaces, creating a language intended to interfere directly in society.

The graffiti is often associated with different movements of urban modern tribes, as a form of group identification, expression of feelings or beliefs, or simply the demarcation of specific territory.
