YOGA AND AERIAL DANCE

Aerial yoga is a type of suspension training that mixes several disciplines, including traditional yoga, circus acrobatics, dance and Pilates. It is a particularly fun activity whose main objective is to work on resistance, flexibility and breathing.
With the aerial dance, we will try to dance in the air. It is a conscious and aerial dance that drives the movement towards an indescribable freedom, where the body and posture take shape and dominate the space, with great ease, without spatial barriers.

Aimed at students who already have knowledge of classical dance technique, this workshop aims to improve the technique, giving students the opportunity to work with an internationally renowned teacher.

The contemporary dance class with Catarina Casqueiro aims to deepen technical knowledge and meet the quality of movement of each of the participants.

CHOREOGRAPHIC CREATION

Starting from the preparation of the dancer’s body to face the choreographic work, we will work with pieces from the choreographer’s repertoire, introducing some small variations through the dancers’ own improvisation work, thus making the repertoire itself a lively and flexible piece, and why not… reinterpreted by the dancers themselves.
