Catarina Courinha was born in Lisbon in 1984 and her first contact with dance was at the age of 12. She sought training in various areas, from contemporary dance to tap dance, to Jazz dance, but it was in Hip Hop that she concentrated her training, having teachers who are renowned choreographers and dancers, such as Diana Matos, Vasco Alves, Rita Spider and Patrick Chen , and continuing his regular training more recently with Juste Debout school teachers.

She also joined some performing groups, such as group “7ª Posição” and Dance 2xs Portugal. She began working as a teacher in 2008, having specialized in teaching the youngest since then. In 2009,s he obtained her degree in Sports Sciences – Specialization in Exercise and Health – from FMH and is currently taking training in Education.
