    Biography

    Johnn Hackett, a native of Oklahoma, USA, began his dance journey at a very young age. At age twelve, he joined a competitive dance team where he fell in love with dancing and then later attended the Tulsa Ballet Center for Dance Education to further his dance studies. He attended The Juilliard School in New York City and graduated in the class of 2021.

    He has attended summer programs at the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute, Arts Umbrella, and the Alonzo King LINES Summer Program. Throughout his training he has worked with choreographers such as Bryan Arias, Andrea Miller, Gregory Dawson, Matthew Neenan, and most recently, Ohad Naharin. He has also performed historic repertoire by Martha Graham, José Limón, Donald McKale, and Mats Ek. Throughout his time at Juilliard and abroad, he has learned choreographic excerpts from notable choreographers such as William Forsythe, Jiři Kylián, Ohad Naharin, Crystal Pite, Bill T. Jones, Alonzo King, and Nacho Duato.                                                                                                                           In August 2021, Johnny became a member of Quorum Ballet.
