Kim Potthoff, is from Porto Alegre, Brazil. At the age of 3, she began her dance studies at Ballet Vera Bublitz. In 1998, she joined the Ballet School of Dance Lenita Ruschel Pereira, where she graduated with distinction by the Royal Academy of Dance method.

During her academic and professional career, she had the opportunity to work with outstanding teachers and choreographers such as: Rejane Duarte Carlla Bublitz, Carla Korbes, Vera Bublitz, Lenita Ruschel, Déborah Ruschel, Cecília Kerche, Ronaldo Martins, Ana Botafogo, Sílvia Sukieniky, Elizabeth Santos, Helena Py, Emílio Martins, Tíndaro Silvano, Toshie Kobaiashy, Patrício Torres, Hans-Joachim Tappendorff, Vladimir Klos, Guiivalde de Almeida, Dalal Achar, Raymond Chai, Denzil Bailey, Celia Grannum, Boris Van-dueren, Oscar Recaldé, Laura Alonso, Jorge Peña, Lina Lapertosa, Ilara Lopes, Joan Hewson, Ian Knowles, Susan Zalcman, Roland Price, Maggie Paterson, Guilherme Dias, José Grave, Vítor Garcia, César Moniz, Isabel Viladino, Mônica Proença, Andréia Spollaor, Amélia Bentes and Barbara Griggi.

She participated in contests and festivals, including the Joinville Dance Festival, Youth America Grand Prix, Brazilian Dance Congress and the Brasília International Dance Seminar.

She received the award for Best Dancer and Best Dancer in Classical Repertoire in 2005 and 2007 at the Latin American Dance Festival. In 2006, she received the award for Best Neo-Classical Dancer at the Bento em Dança Festival.

In 2007, she moved to London where she studied at the Royal Academy of Dance and, later, to Portugal, joining the Escola Superior de Dança de Lisbon in the academic year 2009/2010.

In Portugal, she worked with Kamusuna Ball Company, Vórtice Dance Company and Teatro Nacional São Carlos.

In September 2012, she joined Quorum Ballet for the “Swan Lake” project, becoming a member of the company in 2014.

In 2015, she joined Quorum Academy as a teacher, becoming project coordinator in 2017.

In 2020, gave choreographic assistance to Daniel Cardoso at the National Company of Split in Croatia.

She is currently the Ballet Master for the Quorum Project and the Quorum Ballet Company.
