Ballet I, II and IV
Kim Potthoff was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil. At the age of 3 she began her dance studies in Ballet Vera Bublitz, using the Balanchine method. In 1998, when she was 10 years old, she joined the Lenita Ruschel Pereira Ballet Dance School, where she graduated with the Royal Academy of Dance.
During his academic and professional career she had the opportunity to work with distinguished professors and choreographers such as Rejane Duarte Carla Bublitz, Carla Korbes, Vera Bublitz, Lenita Ruschel, Déborah Ruschel, Cecilia Kerche, Ronaldo Martins, Ana Botafogo, Sílvia Sukieniky, Elizabeth Santos, Helena Py, Emílio Martins, Tíndaro Silvano, Toshie Kobaiashy, Patrício Torres, Hans-Joachim Tappendorff, Vladimir Klos, Guiivalde de Almeida, Dalal Achar, Raymond Chai, Denzil Bailey, Celia Grannum, Boris Van-dueren, Oscar Recaldé, Laura Alonso, Jorge Peña, Lina Lapertosa, Ilara Lopes, Joan Hewson, Ian Knowles, Susan Zalcman, Roland Price, Maggie Paterson, Guilherme Dias, José Grave, Vítor Garcia, César Moniz, Isabel Viladino, Mônica Proença, Andréia Spollaor, Amélia Bentes and Bárbara Griggi.
She performed in contests and festivals – such as the Joinville Dance Festival, Youth America Grand Prix, Brazilian Dance Congress and the International Dance Seminar in Brasilia.
She received the award for Best Dancer and Best Classical Dancer in 2005 and 2007 at the Latin American Dance Festival. In 2006, she received the award for Best Neo-Classical Dancer at the Bento in Dance Festival.
In 2007, she moved to London where she studied at the Royal Academy of Dance and later to Portugal, joining the Lisbon Higher School of Dance in the academic year 2009/2010.
In Portugal, she worked with the Kamusuna Ballet Company, Vortex Dance Company and at the São Carlos National Theater.
In September 2012, she joined the Quorum Ballet as a trainee dancer in the “Swan Lake” project, becoming a member of the Company in 2014.
