Choreographer

He started dancing at the Setúbal Contemporary Dance Academy. Over the course of 25 years of professional career, he worked at CeDeCe – Companhia de Dança Contemporânea, Ballet Gulbenkian and Nederlands Dans Theater 1 and 2. Later, as a freelancer, he participated in projects as a dancer, assistant, rehearser and co-creator, working at the same time in his own choreographies and teaching dance classes and workshops. Passionate about music, he studied drums (jazz) at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague (Netherlands) and took part in several dance and music festivals abroad.

In 2020 he entered the Master’s degree in Dance Teaching at the Escola Superior de Dança de Lisboa, where he completed his studies in November 2022.

At the moment, he continues to work as a rehearser and assistant choreographer and gives classes.
