Upock Qauqavan started dance in the age 7. Base on the background, He is from Taiwan indigenous tribe which is known as Taiwanese original music and dance from.

He started his professional train in the age 13 in the Ming-Cheng dance school (Taiwan) and Tsoying senior high dance school (2010~2012)

2016 Graduated from Taipei National University of The Arts (TNUA) School of dance and 2014 State University of New York at Purchase.

During his study he worked with several choreographer: Lin Hwai-Min. 

Zhang Xiao-Xiong / Yisam-Wu / Graeme Colins/ MADBoots./ Sangiga / Toru Shimazaki / Minglung-Yang…

He also study choreography so his work [Lily] got the best work of the year by The National Dance Association of R.O.C in 2015

In 2015 in Focus Dance Company he also brought his work [Lily] / [Wonderland] to perform around Taiwan and Seoul.

In 2016~2017 worked with Cloud Gate Dance theater. At the same time he was still doing his own choreography so he Choreographed [Lily2] for international youth choreograph project and brought his piece to Adelaide, Australia. In the end of 2017 work with a UK choreographer Janis Claxton for spring art festival Pop-up Duets [Fragments of love] and in 2018 he started his career abroad so he joined Delattre Dance Company( Germany) under the artistic director Stephen Delattre in season 2018/2019

In 2019 start to work with Quorum Ballet.
