Born in Lisbon, she began studying dance at the age of five. She studied at the School of Dance of the National Conservatory of Lisbon, and finished her studies in 1996. She studied with teachers such as, Georges Garcia, Ulrike Caldas , Jorge Salavisa, Carlos Caldas, Luísa Taveira, Margarida Bettencourt, Cristina Graça, Cristina Pereira, Miguel Lyzarro, Olga Roriz. Bárbara Griggi, Paula Pinto and Ludger Lamers.

She joined the National Ballet Company as a trainee and later as a dancer.

She was dancer of Companhia Dançarte.

She was part of the cast of the Companhia de Dança da Madeira, where she highlights the roles of Cinderella, Les Sylphides, Nikyia de La Bayadére, Raymonda, among others.

She was a teacher in the Dancing with the Difference Group (inclusive dance group), wheres he developed a technique of Contemporary and Classical Dance for people with disabilities. She accompanied all the choreographic processes that the Group developed with the invited choreographers.

She was a teacher in the Conservatory – School of Arts, Professional Course of Contemporary Dance Interpreter and at Carlos Fernandes Dance School, in Funchal.

She has been a teacher at Quorum Academy since 2011.
