Bruno Listopad is an artist and educator that researches movement and the intersections of dance, performance, visual art and network culture.

He was educated in Portugal, France, and the Netherlands, where he studied dance and visual arts. He made his debut in the Netherlands in 1998 at the Holland Dance Festival and received a number of awards among which the Prize of Interpretation Prix Volinine (1997), Revelation Prize Ribeiro da Fonte from the Portuguese Ministry of Culture (1999), the Choreography Encouragement Prize from the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts (2000), and the Philip Morris Art Prize (2001).

From 2000 his independent work was produced by Korzo Producties, Dansateliers, Acarte (Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian), Lantaren/Venster, Danças na Cidade, Productiehuis Zeebelt, CCB (Centro Cultural de Belém), Teatro Rivoli, NDD (Nederlandse Dansdagen), NAi (Nederlands Architectuurinstituut), Operadagen Rotterdam and Productiehuis Rotterdam (Rotterdamse Schouwburg).

His practice has been commissioned by Holland Dance Festival, Springdance Festival, Dansgroep Krisztina de Châtel, Ballet Gulbenkian, Rotterdam-Porto Cultural Capitals 2001, Rogie & Company, Dance Works Rotterdam, Nye Carte Blanche, Het Nationale Ballet, Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, NEST, Something Raw Festival, Cover Festival and ICKamsterdam.

During 2007-2009 he led with four other makers the choreographic research institute Danslab. He has co-curated with Mariette Dölle To All Tomorrows Parties a performance exhibition at TENT Rotterdam and curated WeberWoche an exhibition and performance program at Stroom Den Haag featuring artists such as Katja Novitskova, Nathaniel Mellors and Ryan Trecartin. Together with Nikola Knežević he created the installation SHOW MORE presented at Stroom Den Haag, Search Machine presented at De Markten.

As an educator he has been working in institutions such as ArtEZ Master of Choreography and Master of Theatre Practices, Master Artistic Research KABK, Master Artistic Research UvA, DasArts Master of Theatre, St. Lucas School of Arts Antwerp, Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, DAS Choreography, Master Choreography Codarts, FAICC and SNDO (School for New Dance Development) at Amsterdam University of the Arts in which he works as a mentor.

Bruno Listopad é um artista que pesquisa movimento e as interseções entre a dança, a performance, a arte visual, e a cultura de rede.

Estudou dança em Portugal, na França e na Holanda. Desde a sua estreia na Holanda em 1998, tem vindo a receber diversos prémios, destacando-se: Prémio Revelação Ribeiro da Fonte (1999), Choreography Encouragement Prize do Amsterdam Fund for the Arts (2000), e o  Philip Morris Art Prize (2001).

O seu trabalho tem sido co-produzido e comissionado por Korzo Producties, Acarte, Dansateliers, L/V, Danças na Cidade, NAi, Holland Dance, Springdance, Krisztina de Châtel, Ballet Gulbenkian, Companhia Instável, Rogie & Company, Dance Works, Nye Carte Blanche, Het Nationale Ballet, Something Raw e Cover Festival.

Co-dirigiu o centro de pesquisa Danslab e foi co-curador de exposições na TENT Rotterdam, Stroom Den Haag. Em conjunto com Nikola Knežević criou diversos trabalhos no âmbito das artes visuais.
